About Me

My name is Kelly, and I've been involved in various dogsports for over seven years now. I got started in Flyball with my oldest dog, Maggie because it 'looked like fun'. I was right! Flyball is a blast. I was having so much fun doing that, I got my next dog, Reckless, and started him in flyball and both dogs in Agility. Thus, the madness began. The more I learned and the more fun my dogs and I had, the more I realized how fundemental training in dog sports was to having a happy, well behaved dog at home. My dogs naturally became more bonded to me, and better behaved around the home. About three years ago, I discovered Canine Freestyle, which is a relatively unknown sport in the Cowichan Valley. I have decided it is my job to share with as many others as possible the joys of doing something fun with your dog, the amazing relationships it builds, and the wonderful friends you meet. Whether you want to do a sport 'just for fun' or think you may want to continue training to enter competitions, Crazy Dog Sports Training is the place for you and your best friend!

I am a big believer in positive reinforcement training. There is never any force or coercion used in my classes. I also believe in building the relationship between you and your dog, so your dog both wants, and LOVES to work for you!

Classes are available on a regular basis for both Agility and Canine Freestyle, and I will be offering workshops in many other sports, such as Flyball, Nosework, or any other sport I can get going!
